I have also noticed most PVC snorkles stick WAY out the side and are more of a tree magnet than needed so i went and recessed it into the side of the fender bulge

Now the fender/bumper (same difference :D ) sticks the furthest out

The custom bling aluminum foil thing you see is also PVC (aluminum foil heat shield) and gives better flow than the stock crap. 4 inch marine ducting for the air route.

stainless steel and acrylic "food" container from walmart complete with latch and a silicon seal for $15, i cant even MAKE anything like that for that cheap  cut hole in top and bottom andd screwed of a couple flange connecters with a liberal dose of RTV

and 3 inch PVC female ends are a nice snug fit in 4inch ducting

Yup, once the BJ start wearing out and you break some CVs the SAS is inevitable. I struggle daily to resist the urge to wheel the DD. Luckly I can't afford to mod the DD and the wheeler. Uwharrie sure is fun in a stocker, though. :flipoff2:
