I am tweeking with a new rear suspension. I could get alot more flex if the drive shaft would alow for it. The lobes of the 1310 are knocking on the center housingat full droop.

Has anyone shaved away some of the material to allow for better angle from a 1310 CV?

first off what size tube are you starting wit here? if its a 2" tube stock no mods should give you 25 degree's flex or so- if you dissasemble and knock the ring off inside ( the ring that does nothing attached to the ball stud) not the seal- then knock down the lobes you should be able to get 32-24 degree's almost every time depending on the castings- on some you actually have to take a die grinder and clearnace the h part inside where the parts are inclosed in - just to knock off any casting lines that might be inside- good luck- one thing to think about - if your doing your grinding and think it might be too much or maybe possibly weaking things THAN IT IS STOP! good luck, Jesse:D
