I was talking with Forrest and he told me Bushwacker makes a decent flare for a custom fit.

CSmith, what brand are those flares? Bushwacker? Also, how much did you have to cut?
Jake.

thanks for the replies guys... I like the look of those chebby flares on the scout. That is something that i am going to look into.
I would also like to take this time to apologize to urban wheeler for using caps on my words. I was typing in all caps and the text editor converted it to only the first letter. I am truly sorry.

I checked out the Bushwacker site. They sell what they call cutout fender flares for just about everything. I think they were 179 for a pair (as in two not four), so I guess it all depends on how much you like them and how well you can hide almost 4 bills from the wife? Like anyone else who has every owned an IH, you become pretty creative when it comes down to it. Although the other types of rig owners that we meet don't know why we choose the IH, if they have to ask, they'll never understand. Personally, I like the way the look and that's on top of their stuborn and tenacious determination to stay alive!!!

I agree with you totally (djm1558). It is a lot harder to build a good scout. Mine was purchased by my father when he graduated high school (1969), It is now mine and i have full intentions of keeping it in the family until all 4x4's fly.
...hey if it was easy, everybody would do it!
back to the fenders, I like the continuous radius look of the cut-out F-250/350 super duty or even the 2004 and up F-150. Does anyone know if this fenders will even come close to carrying the same body curvature as the scout? I plan on dropping the entire rocker panel in favor of a tube/slider. I think this should straighten the curve a little.
