to plumb your on board air. I was looking at hard line (PITA) or rubber lines but wasn't sure which was more common. I did the search but got bored sifting through all the results.:D

I used steel braided off the compressor for the first 12" then rubber line from there to the tank.

Ditto, well actually I had a 4' length of steel braided line. so....

Thanks guys. I am going to plumb a seperate system from the ARBS for air tools and airing up. I looked into it and under the KISS method (keep it simple stupid) it seemed better to go with 2 systems rather than worry about blowing the ARBs with too much pressure.

You can also plumb an inline flow controller, so you can reduce the air pressure to the ARB's. That would allow you to maintain one system.

My belt driven compressor puts out 125 psi, front ARB on my F350 D60 is still intact.
