Iv got knuckles off of a 77' f-150. i am wanting to move my steering up on top of the knuckle. is there a ford truck out there that did have flat top knuckles that would work on my 77' d44 axle? if anyone knows, please let me know...thanks

Not that ive ever seen. But i could be wrong, couldnt you just put Chevy knuckles on? How come you dont just go with a Tie Rod over?

iv got the tie rod over w/the DOM tubing rods and all...but i need it to be higher. the chevy knuckles im not sure if they will interchange and i might be wrong, but i think only the drivers side is flat top for their steering arm...

i had put high steer on a 79 ford bronco axle. what i did was use the 3/4 ton ford d44 knuckles from the same year. they are flat and the drivers side is already tapped. you will have to grind the passenger side to be perfectly flat, if you want but its close as is. then you will need to drill and tap it. finally you will need to drill the knuckle and caliper a small amount to make the 3/4 ton knuckle work with the 1/2 ton brakes, or you could just use the 3/4 ton caliper bracket and caliper but the 1/2 ton rotor

the spindle is the same yes, im sure the caliper bracket is diff though i never had one i just used the 150 stuff and as i said i had to grind to make the 150 caliper work with the 250 knuckle and im sure the 250 caliper is bigger and prolly a double piston as opposed to the 150s single piston caliper, but 15 wheels fit better on 150 stuff

ok, im with you now. im sorry for the confusion. but one more question i think. what did you have to grind on the 150's caliper bracket to make it fit? let me know, thanks!

my mistake i actually had to grind the inside of the caliper and the knuckle cause they were touching, you can see what i did in the pics. was hard to remember it was a while ago and ive been on d60s for a while now and dont even think about d44s anymore
