anyone know where to click and buy these online?
http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticles/70718/
I see the links on the page but they're old and I couldn't find anything there.
I also want the fron lights and the blackout drive light...
Thanx
Pete
Try the local DRMO. Military junkyard.

i might still have a couple sets laying around. all you have to do is change the bulbs to 12v and they work well. watch out, though, the later model ones were plastic. i like the metal ones better, the screws dont strip out when they get beat up

HMMWV search works well also
Surplus companany out in CA sells them owens export-change to 12 Volt bulb
You need the lights and buckets
www.owens-export.com
Most military tarilers come with the metal (ballistic?) light housings-I have a few sets I took off when convertings oem trailers to conventional lights...but oen set is on my hummer kit and the other on my CJ-7
it will run you about $120-180 for everything...unless you hunt around on ebay

Keep watching Ebay (I use 'military lights'...find more cool stuff that way...just picked up one of the pushbutton dashboard light switches that I'm going to retro-fit once I get my hands on a wiring diagram) and you'll find a good deal. The buckets don't pop up very often, so you may want to go with one of the surplus outfits for those. Got mine years ago from a place called Surplus Enterprizes...not sure if they're still around. You can also pick up side marker buckets off the civvy rigs from the Hummer dealer and recess those as well.
