Do you think you will have enough wrap on the crank pulley? The stock ac setup uses a double lower pulley.

Does anyone know how expensive an AC pulley would be? I'm guessing that AC was a dealer installed option, not factory installed. Is that pulley available from Suzuki?

It would also keep you from putting all your eggs on one belt....

Here's another question, how do you adjust belt tension? Are you going to use an idler like some of the kits out there? If you want I just finished making a ps bracket for my rig I can send you a pic. It was cheap and simple.:crybaby:

Not sure - It's got 4 bolts to hold it to the lower timing gear - doesn't a Zuk 1.3L only have 3? I do have the gear also, but will it fit a Zuk crank?

I sent Rockrat the pics of my homebrew unit. I relys on the use of a double pulley though.

Rockrat- I had incontrol look at a his ifs pump and he said that it didnt have two opposite hole that could work as a pivot for tensioning so it does look like the style I made will work for your pump. :(

Well it's taken longer than I thought alot of unforseen things frstarters, old x-over wouldnt work since I moved the axle so far up on the springs. and as some one pointed out not enough rap on the crank so thanx to oilburner got a double crank pulley, got some flat steel and reworked the X-over arm, made a new bracket for the motor and pmp, made a new pitman arm to go from toy ifs to hiem, and ordrerd the material from spidertax to make the new drag-link with hiem joints heres a few updated pics http://4play4wheelers.com/PmP_eng_brkt_IMG.jpg

Thanks for remembering me, I'm not totally understanding how the pumps getting mounted? On another note how do you like the 4.57 r&p? I have the gr2 case with stock gears and lockers with tall 31's and have to run 4th most of the time i'm eyeballing those 33" xterras and i'm thinking 4.57 gears outta turn those tires ok, motors pretty much stock webber carb. and header with 2" all the way out back with turbo muff and no cat converter (man what a dog)

Take care,
Don

No problem do you have a 1.3 or 1.6 motor I made templates
of motor bracket for 1.3 if you want it. as far as the gears go it went like this Sat install 4:16 t-case gears. Sun put it in 2 low and roast my 33" out in the driveway then drove it around the block and parked it. Following Sat pull the axles install The 4:57 sun Reinstall drive for 20 mins and park. Following Sat rip it apart to do the S/R and The P/S so to answer your Question Ive really never gottn it out of the drive Im tryin to finish it up for club trip the 28th of april and it has to pass club tech inspection on the 13th so Im kinda pressed for time.
