This would be perfect for me.

but the CC is not enough. I want one to haul my 4200lb XJ.
Is there anything similar out there?

buy a used slide-in and put it on the front of a Gooseneck...
I've looked all over the SW for a trailer similar to that, and have just decided that I'll have to make my own. I haven't run across anything like that trailer that will carry my 'Yota...

Then trade the Sub. For what you want, he is right.
Unless you want to build your own...

thats a pretty cool outfit.. I think a problem your gonna run into with something like what your talking about will be tongue weight.. I personally think the Goose neck would be the way to go ..but with you having a Suburban thats out.. Home built is gonna be your only option right now that I know of.

I asked the same thing awhile ago.......
I'm going to get a 25" car trailer and get a good style tent to set up on it when the 4runners is off......
I looked into trading in the sub and getting a cab-over camper and a trailer, but I'll take too big of a $$ hit on my Suburban :(

that trailer looks similar to the Pakrat trailer (doesn't have a pop up camper though, but a permanent one -> with fold out bed compartment though).
I've looked at one, since I also like(d) the design, but the frame and everything is just not made to haul a trail rig around.
Some ATV's or a couple of dirt bikes no problem, but no trailrig
:)

I hate to admit how retarded I am, but couldn't you chop the top a' la Avalanche or swap in a removable top from a post '75 Blazer? Avalanches seem like a good idea gone terribly wrong :shaking:
