What kind of milage are you grtting now? My 87 gets 22 around town and 25 on the hiway. Thats w/ 32's and no gear change... my 80 pickup w/ 35's and 4:88's gets about 20ish, give or take pending on how much I lay into the skinny pedal and it's a 22r :)

anyone made 22RE EFI-to-carb swop with weber kits from downey or whatever? seriuosly - dirty EFI nozzles, old fuel pump, all the electric stuff could work wrong - all of this could decrease mileage. i wanna do it because i'm really tired of bugs in wiring harness - i want just cut it off. what you think?

Ruben: clean up the throttle body, make sure you are running quality toyota cap/rotor/plugs/wires, set idle correctly, maybe replace the o2 sensor
