Last week I went on a cleanup run with my club, picked up two truckloads of trash along a two mile section of wash (the one that parralels Trail 42). Pretty much accesable by the general public, lots of partying and shooting.

Anyway here's a shot of all the trash we picked up (about 24 people).

Ok so this weekend I was ready for some rocks. We ran a new trail yesterday (just Zags and myself).

I love being the first one to run a trail, it's the hardest wheeling you'll ever do since you have to find the line. Also, with all the talk of gearing in the group let me say a GRS II, 5.29's and 35's isn't low enough for climbing stuff like this. My Petroworks clutch was :smokin:

Next time we go back I am going to try the line Zags took, he eased right up the fall.

Another ledge with easy, hard and extreme lines to take.

Gonna call this obstacle "The Twister". Full droop and two tires aren't touching the ground (just sidewall on the pass front).

Or maybe call it " The Toy Launcher"

Nice, Chris! Keep up the good work. And I agree that a GRS2 and 5.29's just can't keep up with the stuff you're tackling.....you need 200 or 250:1

Do ya see any trash in the pictures? No, it's out west, way out west. The Tanks are a dump, too many locals head out there to party, combine that with people stealing cars and burning them out there. There's a new car/truck/camper out there everytime I go. Only a matter of time before that place gets shut down.

I'm up here in South Dakota. I just got done shoveling freakin snow before I got online! What is that you're wearing, a sweat shirt? My balls froze!
Anyway, so what part of AZ are all these sweet trails in? Must be somewhat close to phoenix, right? That's a long drive for me, but they look fun. Someday, I'll be calling on you.

Whoa, too much info  When I lived in Alaska I always wore pants when I shoveled snow, leave the shorts for summer :D All the stuff I run is around Phoenix. Longest drive for me is Florence Junction, about an hour from my house. Oh, and I am really not that fat, I got a shirt, sweatshirt and another sweatshirt over that, it was a chilly 60 degress that day.

I really apreciate the the research and hard work Azrckcrawler puts into finding trails and documenting them. Yesterday was my first chance to run a new trail, and that was a blast. That little yellow zuk is one cool rig.
It is a shame that alot of the best wheelin spots near town are getting so trashed. Thanks to the efforts of people like Azrckcrawler, there will be hardcore trails for us to run in the future.

Hell yes. We got CalROCS next weekend. Better make up for not having any competition from us Cali guys last time. If they don't call me in to work, I'll be there!

That's pretty sad when you guys need a rockcrawling competition to compete with our normal four wheeling, but I guess if you guys only post 2 or 3 pics I got a chance , bring it on!

Man I'm ready! I'm going for a personal extreme, we got 9" of snow Saturday morning (yea you BC guys can laugh, but for Oklahoma that's a big deal :rasta: )! Then I'll be headed your way Thursday. I'm planning snow drifts to rocks in 7 days :bounce2:.

Looks like I'll be on my own traveling from Oklahoma though. I found out this morning that Danny can't make it :(.

I'll be bringing my camera and taking lotsa AZ pics! Let the CA guys post competition pics, I still say AZ will KICK ASS!

After reading the editors note in the last Fourwheeler it looks like the lost practically their entire veteran staff!!! They are looking for people who can write and take pics....THATS YOU BABY! If your site isnt a good "resume" I dont know what is...or just be a contributor, I got around $800 for articles with art (pics) from mags in the past. 4 articles=KLune  I'll warn ya though they are SLOW to publish so you have to patient.

Hey, Fatkid. You gonna be at CalROCS? I have to work Sat and Sun, but would it be worth a 4hr drive to see the stock/modified class on Fri?
BTW, thanks for showing us (Gold Coast Cruisers) around the Tin Benders shop, and showing us the rigs a couple weeks ago.

I promiss the stock class will be worth watching, I plan on putting on one hell of a show. As for the fenders I'll give you an update of what's left of the sammy. As for tubing the front, who knows. Before I tube the front I have to use up my spare fenders and hoods I have at the shop, however the Zuk is going to get some tube work done on it today.:D

Last time I was at JV they stood around the Campfire and Talked about wheelin. They "alledegedly" ran Sledge, but then it cold and windy and they all went home. I think we scared them. :flipoff2:
