hey, got a new toy, cool little '62 Scout 80, 1/2 cab :D :D
runs pretty good, but I need a clutch master cylinder. Local parts houses can get me a rebuild kit, but I would really prefer and re-man. Anyone know who might have one??
Going to give JG a call on Monday, but thought I would start the search sooner....

The Dodge MC is working ok for me, and it bolted right up. if you want the orginal style, start searching for roundy-round racing sites. they use those MC's alot.

I did the first thread on this I ended up using a ford courier. Tom M had the best idea use your single brake master cylinder and put a dual master on for the brakes. I never could find a rebuilt master for the scout.
I'm haveing a blast working on this 80 of mine.

Thanks for the congrats... I really like this little guy.... may have to pry it away from my wife though :D
I would rather not mess with rebuilding it. I know its cheap, ~$20, but this little unit is rather beat-up, and the cap has seen better days, and I kind of like warrentees. I'm in luck though.
First, I have found a new one in Oregon, that I can get for $70, but also a local Napa guy has come-through for me. He did a lot of leg work and found a strong posibility. (Turned out to be the little Dodge D-50 one after all). Same $70, but he's got it waiting for me, just pick it up on my way home. I'll let every one know how it works out.
Also, the almost identical cyliner is used on the '80-'86 or so CJ-7's... but they are "obsolete" now as well. JC Whitless has them for $109...
"The Fleckster" at Back Door Binder's ( :D ) has them for $110 as well... not sure what his are though....
And yes, I am going to make you regret this Ritch :flipoff2: also, this will make TWO rigs in my yard that run and out-wheel yours... well, actually there are 5 4X's in my yard that can out wheel yours (well, ones 2wd.. for now)..... 7 if you count the two with out motors :flipoff2: :D
