is there anybody who sells overdrive water pump pulleys for a 350. I have the 6.25" pulley. I have searched this forum and google as well with no luck. Im just trying to turn my fan a little faster, without having to spend a lot of $$ on an electric pusher. Any suggestions?

you have to be carefull spinning the water pump faster because it will tend to cavitate at higher RPMs and then it stops pumping, so this would make your rig a trailer queen, no more driving to the trail. (if thats what you do now)
Unless you're running an old solid fan with steel blades, spinning it faster will do you no good.
Maybe try an old 4 bladed solid fan, the ford ones pull the most air as I remember, we used them alot in racing, and make sure your shroud is possitioned correctly, it should end at the mid point of the fan, so half the blade width is inside the shroud, and half is outside.
Good luck, I hope this helps.

this is what I have done. Professionally fabricated fan shroud. 18" 6 bladed sold fan. High Volume edelbrock water pump. 31"X27" 2 row alum. radiator. Cut out inner fender flares. 16lb cap. Run dexcool 25% dex 75% water. 195 degree thermostat. I never overheat on the road or even going 10mph. When I crawl it heats up after a while to 220+. Im having the hood lovered, but im to the point where Im gonna add a elect pusher or start looking for a mechanical problem. I know its not running lean, and there is no exhaust gasses in the coolant, and im not losing coolant anywhere. So I thought if i could turn the fan a little faster to move some more air.... that might take care of my problem

Sounds like you've spent alot more money than an electric fan would cost. If you want to go a cheaper route get a couple fans off of a cavalier or something in a junk yard and you can buy little fasteners to attach them to your radiator. The first thing I would put on my truck is an electric fan to free up a few h.p. and get better fuel economy.

That is what im leaning toward. As far as hp and fuel economy....I dont care. Its a dedicated rockcrawler and has plenty of hp to break lots of parts already

what is the age and core thickness on your radiator?
it's sounds like you're on the right track, but somethings not working up to par. if the rad. is old, or the two cores are thin, then that could be the problem. A good two core aluminum rad. should be as thick as the old 4 core chevy rad.

new 6 months ago. 2 core 1 inch cores i believe. Its a huge radiator.

is your motor fuel inj.? if not, what about running like a 160 degree thermostat? with that radiator you shouldn't be having a problem, (as I'm sure you know) maybe try a steeper pitched fan? I'm baffled, sorry I can't be of more help. the rad. is mounted higher then the motor right? no air pocket problems? keep us informed if you figure this out, or need more help.

yes its fuel injected. I fear its a cracked head

Take a look at your lower pulley. Most SBC have a rather large lower pulley, some didn't. Make sure yours is the big one. That will increase the ratio to your waterpump.

mine is the larger crank pulley

I would think a cracked head would trouble you all the time, and you'd have exaust gasses pressuring up your cooling system.
