: Zero rates and 3 inch blocks?

Just wondering if someone has used zero rates with
blocks and if I shouldnt. I have 56 inch springs in back with custom flip but
it needed custom cut blocks in the rear to = the front; the front is a mis-match of springs to make about 5 inches. what are some ways to eliminate the blocks without giving up lift?

Using zero rates with blocks is no worse than using regular springs with blocks. A zero rate functions just like an overload leaf, as far as the junction between leaf pack and spring perch go.

All of that said, I wouldn't run blocks in a rig I actually took offroad. Fine for bling show trucks or street rigz. To give better advice on what you should run, give us more details on your suspension, the rig and how you plan on using it. Hard to answer your broader question very well without that kinda info..

Its going to be a true rig, but in order to get rid of the blocks I need to find another way to keep the lift I have. I just ordered 4 zero rates. Has 4" lift springs on front, with rasied steering arm and stock push/pull steering setup. Rear lift is 56" springs, with shackle flip and a 2" block to level it out, rear axle pushed back 4 inches with this swap. I plan on running 39.5s or 42s TSL's.

how much suspension lift do you want total? On my K5, I run 39.5x15x15 TSLs just fine with 5" of lift. Fender trimming if your friend, blocks and axle-wrap your enemy. ;)
