Definitely not 36" and if they were, not SXs (heavier - drivetrain breakers)...

34"s sounds better...5" lift for these huh?

WOW in that last pic is that trail 10? It looks like it but I have never seen it that dry. Did anyone show up Friday during the day? We had 3 Defenders and a Disco out at RC on Friday but we stuck to Paragon the rest of the weekend.

34s. They are going on the Rangie in the next week or two, trying to do it with 3" springs and some creative body work. :p

How much lift does Steve's disco have on it? Its good looking i like it minus the tires.

Steve has 5" springs, no body lift. It looks like more in all the pictures for some reason.

jbailey

It is closer to 6" lift with the gas charged shocks.

thinking about taking the body lift out or going with wider wheelbase? :p
looks like a turtle on its side...

Did the windshield break on the rangie? Why didn't you just take the rut up it looks like you tried to go to the left of the rut. Nice looking rangie tho :(

Yes the windshield broke. It actually popped out at the top pass. side. It was a very easy obsticle but just thought I would stradle the ruts. Not that that was to hard either. I just had the rear tire slip into the rut on the down hill side. the momentum of the bounce is what rolled the Rover. I was just barely moving and it all happened in an instant.
The lesson learned for me was that things can go wrong at any moment even on the simplest of terrain. Thankfully no one was hurt and the RRover was not damaged to bad. The roofrack actually prevented it from going over any further than 90 degrees. It did scare my 4 year old pretty good though. He is alittle leary of the side tilts now. I hope he will recover his confidence. That has worried me more than fixing the Rover.

What's wrong with those tires?

Just personal preference really. Doesn't fit my needs or wants as a tire. I've read some reviews in various 4wheel magazines about them, none of them really like them. They say that they paid alot and good little from them. Jbailey, yes it is a good thing no one was hurt.

In defense of Steve's Tires, the Trxus tire seems to do well in alot ot terrain. It is not a TSL in the mud but does ride well on the street. I have had them on two of my Rovers and found them to be a great compromise between "all-terrains" and "extreme" mud tires. Good choice for a Daily Driver. And Steve drives his Disco to work everyday.

Again just my opinion.
