i need a scout II power steering box badly for my project. where is the best place to get one. new or used and cheap as possible. and will it work with my gm pump?

Best place is the bone-yard, or ask nicely (which you did :D) and maybe some one has a spare.

For a rebuild box, there used to be a company call Benchworks Steering that had the best price... you needed a core of course, but their price was good.

Problem is I don't know if they are around anymore, Scoutilac was looking latley.. and haveing no luck....
