I thought about putting one of those on my zuk so I could have the pitman ahead of my axle to fix some steering likage issues. I borrowed one from a bud and all I can say is it was HUGE on a zuk. To get it mounted it either hangs too low or the mount would be way above the frame. IMHO not a good fit.

Would that be because it came from a real truck :flipoff2:

That is the problem with the scout boxs. The pitman arm is super long. I need to go with hydro assist just to turn my 35 boggers.

Yes the pitman arms are very LOOOOOOOOONG, but so are the arms on the knuckles. With stock steering I can flip a beetch from curb to curb in my hood. The Scouts can turn, but I'd recommend swapping the pitman arm from a Grand Waggy with any hi-steer setup.

I like my quick ratio steering with the long-pitman / short knuckle. :D

Not just a real truck, but a real HEAVY truck, I had a SSII for years. Finally sold the overweight bastard and don't regret it at ALL.

Just put on a shorter pitman, it will ave all the power you ever need, but it wont turn quite as sharp. My Scout tuned 36s with the palm of your hand.
