So I sell my 84 to a guy and think well it was a good truck but need to move on...So the NEXT nite at 941p I get a knock on the door and its the guy saying....man Im really sorry but I dont know anyone else with a 4wd and I need help as I got stuck in the mud at the pit....so I ask did you have it locked in...No I though we could make it through since it didnt look bad.... I laugh like a goon...this is at nite and its always worse...I say yea no problem...before I knew it I was just as stuck....deep crap..clay filled the mtrs...went to slicks....mud and water to my knees!!!....so 1.5 hrs later I get us both out....boy was I dumb for following his tracks....and I knew better than that to start!...3' to my left was nice hard wet ground...normally I would have drove to the side and tugged him out...At least he had to walk the half mile to get my highlift!!...

GOT WINCH??

I find it easier (more doable) to winch rather than pull with another rig.

Funny story, my dad said you came by last week looking for me. I'll ahave to get you my number or something, we're planning a big weekend long snow camping trip in about 4 weeks or so......hopefully long enough to get my freshly smashed bed, swapped for tube and to finish project "super sami."
