To all of you out there that manage a website (or even just have a homepage). How about supporting the effort to keep your trails open?

I have collected & constructed several banners from organizations that support Public Land for Public Use. Please click here (http://www.crowley-offroad.com/Banner_Exchange.htm) to view the standard sized banners that you can easily add to your site. Here is an example banner:

If you would like to see any other banners added to the list or have any suggestions, please email me (crowley9@pacbell.net) .

Sorry for the double post in General Chit-Chat.....

Damn now your going to make me actually update my website.

I gotta find something, anything better than FrontPage, it takes nearly an hour for FrontPage to check everything. And my dialup rarely satys up that long.

I know, lame excuse.

We've worked hard to get out information on Land Use & Access issues for years at 4x4Wire... check out the Access Section (http://www.outdoorwire.com/access/)

Heck, several 4x4Wire staffers generated the FOTR artwork that you are using!

It will take some time for us to integrate these banners into our flow, and we will be picking and choosing the ones that we use (I am not a fan of the politics of Tread Lightly), but we'll soon add these to our rotation.

Thanks for pulling this list of banners together!

I am not the biggest fan of Tread Lightly either, but the message is good. Maybe if more people see their logo, they will think about straying off the trail....

I can't put banners up on Off-Road.com, but we have a substantial links section in the Land Use Section where most of those organizations are listed. I also monthly highlight at least one website, and those are usually access type websites. And the Land Use section is updated several times a week, it is the most up to date site of its type on the web. But I will add any you have to our club website that I manage.

Brad,

Offroad.com's land use section has plenty of links for off-roaders. I think it is more important for offroad BBS's, club pages & businesses to add them.

Ok I updated enough to say, I've been slacking. But I've added the banners. So there. :flipoff2:

Now when I have some more "extra" time on my hands I'll finish updateing.

BTW, it took all night for FrontPage to do it's thing on a dialup.

I just noticed that the code I stole from your links page and the file names for some of the banners don't match. Gotta fix that. Should be quick with WSFTP.
