This is in the newb forum for a reason. Can a dana 300 be shifted from low 2wd to high 2wd while the vech is in motion ?

If your really good OK, but you are shifting a "crash box". It's a pretty good trick to match RPMs for a clean shift. I shift either way while "just" rolling. Generally not in that much of a hurry.

i wouldn't do it.

in motion as in rolling ? yes.... going more than say 2-3 mph.. NO!

I'm getting better at doing it with my auto, bacause if i miss the tranny starts freewheeling and i have to shut it off and start over... all i do is decelerate to bairly moving lightly bip the gas to jerk the jeep a bit as im doing that lean into the rear shift lever... just pratice a few times...
