That's my snorkle. It is 3" ABS. I just attach a "up pipe" when I go through the deep stuff. The rest of the time I just run like that.

It is plumbed directly into the stock (well waterproofed) airbox to keep the emmisions assholes from throwing to much of a fit.

Glad you all like, not as extreme as most of you fella's but I bet you don't have heated seats or a 6 speaker stereo to comfort you on the way to the trail (hehehe)

ROFL!!!    Nice damage there Brennt... Is that from Ruby Lake? What part of the trail did yah do that on? Anyone else get any damage?

Alaska ZJ

Yah that is from Ruby.

The turnsignal was from the second creek crossing. Everyone else went right through but I decided to take the more difficult line and try and ride a big ol chunk of ice up and around the creek. I just happened to slide into a tree on my way down off it.

The Tie Rod is from a stump at the top of the first Hillclimb, it was burried in the snow (of coarse) and I was getting off the trail to dig in real deap as a Anchor for the other Jeeps. I worked that damn winch for more than 4 hours! Yippie, and I am getting a Hydro if I do that EVER again!

Cool Brennt, sounds like you guys had fun:D I cant wait till we get back on the trail again. We were at the last meeting, were you? Been wanting to chat with yah, just dont know who you are out what yah look like LOL. I had a orange pull over on that said of course Jeep. I wear it to every meeting... You going to be at the next one. Nice snorkel... We just got done making ours for the Jeep... Ruby lake is were we:nuke: :nuke: the back 9" and broke a axle in the 44. And that was enuff to park it and get the 60's out of the parts truck we had lying around:D

Yep, I was at the last meeting. I was the big 'ol bald guy sitting right next to you, your pa and brother.

I was the one with the annoying little kid who kept dropping quarters into the Terminator game right in the middle of the meeting. lol

Ruby is some serious shit. I trashed the front tires on the Jeep going to Sam's tomarrow to try and exchange them seeing as they only have 300 miles on them.

Here are a couple vid's of me trying out that first hill. Took a couple shots to get up. It had about 3 to 12 inches of snow on top of about 1 inch of ice, on top of another 1 to 2 feet of snow, real tough getting enough poop to get up the hill

Isnt the point of a snorkle to get the air intake up higher than stock? Snorkle.....how about straw?

That is nice how you made that video! How did you do that? You need to come on the trips with us... When we have the whole Jeep air born:eek: That would be awesome to get on tape:D Nice job with that!

Dude, do you know how to read??? He said a home made snorkel attaches to that pipe for high water crossings, other wise it runs like that.

Hey stickbuilder, Fuck you, you don't know shit, so shut your ass newbie.

Assassin and Blackjack, I would love to start a exocage, but my bender is still in Idaho. It was a kick on that hill. We had a fullsize Shitty with us and those things SUCK on the trails.

I have a digital Video camera and Nick has a digital camera that takes one minute video's he took those. I am more than happy to take vids and pics of club members rigs and put them up on the net.

Borton- Those flares look like shit on there. I just had them laying around and used them to keep some mudd off the windows and get a bigger tire in there.

I will be going with a custom flare by the end of the summer. As a matter of fact I was thinking of asking Assassin to make me a set?:emb: I wanna go with a flatfender on the ZJ but it needs some serious ingenuity with a breakmachine.

yeah I'm still looking for a pair of cheap TJ Flares to screw with for the front or something else when I decide to take off even more on the front. I just went up to the first fender line.

The YJ flares may look like shit but hey it's functional who gives a damn.

Looks good fun trip! Nice snorkel.. did you ever extend the tranny breather?

Not yet, but it is on the TO DO list.

I relocated the Charcoal Canister yesterday and trimmed and pounded everything smooth on the inner fenderwell.

For the flairs:

TJ flares fit a lot better but I am a cheapass and won't pay much for stock parts. For the Rear I will be using Front TJ flares as well. They match up really well with the body lines and are just about the right shape for the rearend.

Assassin and his Clan build kick ass flares and I want a set, but I need to actually talk to him face to face to see if they can do what I want at a price I will swallow.

All this is secondary right now until the Triangulation of the rear is done and the 8.8 is installed.

LOL Brennt! Yah we still make those flares. CJ-5 my brother runs them on his full width axle Jeep and he LOVES them! We took ours off. Found some TJ flares that would work. We would be glad to talk with yah about what kind of design you want. Hey if you have the time stop by Northern. Our Dana 60 axle is there. It is on show case, the one we cut down....:D

Hey,
I might have missed it somewhere, but do you have the v8 (Read: do you have the bigger tie rod than what comes on TJ's and 4.0 ZJ's)?

No that was the stock job, I will either be getting a Aluminum one that bends and snaps back or if I really need to I will go buy a V8 version.

Assassin-I will stop by Northern and check it out. You say you have a set of TJ flares? hmmmmm, if you don't need them I am willing to deal.
