My buddy wants to build his f150 supercrew into a monster truck .Local shop told him $9500 for a 10"full throttle kit and 3" body to clear 40" I told he was nuts if he did .I told him we could find a pair of superduty axles for $2000 . SO SNYONE DONE ONE HELP PLEASE PICS WEBSITES :confused:

i would imagine it would be similar to every other SAS on an ifs vehicle.
make hangers... weld on... bolt on springs... set up crossover steering... cv driveshafts for retarded pinion angles... 8 chrome shocks per wheel with pink boots... why doesn't he just sell it and buy a stuper duty? :flipoff2:

NO REALLY WOW DIDN'T KNOW THAT :flipoff2: I was looking for someone who has done this to learn from their mistakes and what is a working set up ! The truck has 40 k miles on it paid off and worth about $15k and any super duty is going for around 20k for some fucked up farmer truck :D
super duty axles are very wide. an older dana 44 hd is almost a better choice than a junk sd front axle.

only problem with the d44 is that his load capacity might soon be exceeded with the number of spare axles he would need to carry running 40" tires.and,after paying for all those axles,he could have bought a 60.
