Does anyone know if the column out of a older Cherokee will bolt right up to the YJ. I can't remember what the column looks like to remember if it's the same one?

Because the one in my YJ is broke, and there are no YJ's in any local junkyard, tons of Cherokee's, no Wranglers

Cherokee's are not the same as YJ's. BUT, I'm pretty sure you can just cut down a Cherokee one to fit. Are you talking about XJ's, or the old full size Cherokees?

For a 1991 wrangler-the only steering column that is bolt in is from a 87-95 wrangler. try www.car-parts.com and ebay. Just get a stock YJ one. Its really not worth the work of fabbing another one up-they are cheap. While you are at it-get the pulse wiper and tilt if you have a choice-they are nice.
