So I scored a 85 bronco2 for 50bucks, all it need is a new flywheel, it push starts great :flipoff2: . Anyways Im goin to snag 9" and HP44. Im contenplating on staying with radius arms and making some mounts for them assuming that the full size bronco radius arms are wider the the B2, or do some leafs up front I was thinking some stock waggy leafs with a shackle reversal, depending on how I set it up, it may give me a few inches on the wheel base which I wouldnt mind at all. I plan on running 36s -38s. I need some suggestions on what to do, keep in mind I am an ex-jeeper, I used to wheel an XJ on 37s with all the works. Any help would be appreciated.

i went radius arm because of the simpliscity of it, and it works. if its a 77 housing you can move the c wedges in 3" each side, and everythign will line up, if not, move the coil buckets out 2" and the radius arm brackets that mount on the frame. its really easy and has worked really well in my case

I had a radius arm setup with the same diffs on my B2, and leafs in the rear. Its 4 link front and rear now, but the radius arm setup worked good, very strong. I would go with this setup, my first HP44 had the casted ends/Cs, I used the stock coil buckets and aftermarket springs for a ranger/B2. I simply made a bracket for the bottom buckets that moved the coils in a couple of inches. I still have them, if you need them. As far as the arms go, I cut the last few inches off, extended it with some schedule 80 pipe, and attached big hiem joints. it was bomber. just use the stock panhard rod and attach it to your frame as low as you can. If you need pics of the whole setup i can dig them up, just give me your email.

The reason i went to 4-link is that i kept breaking rear leafs, but the front never broke. And i cant leave shit alone...

put a 4.0V6 in that thing, they bolt right in, have as much power as most 5.0 with a lot less weight and hassle

i run the two link arms off a f 100 that i extended 17 inches. i run air bags in the front now. I used to run coils but the thing would sway from side to side on off chamber stuff. I put the bags in and the truck is way way more stable. i lost some flex but its way better. My rear has alot of flex so it makes up for it. http://sanjuanrockcrawlers.com/upload/tmp/post-1-1105327302.jpg

I would like to see some pics(with measurments if possible) of the 4 link setup on B2KCrawlers truck. I also really like the grill that he has.

Any pics of B2's flex up with a little explenation of what the susp setup is.

Sorry if there is already a thread like what I want, I don't spend much time here in this forum. Just started researching the B2's. Im gonna sell the toy and go back to a ford.

theres a few flex shots, the truck drives good, flexes allright

in those pics it has stock radius arms, 78 bronco rad arm mounts on the frame, skyjacker 6" softride leafs(still have the spring wraps on them not allowing the leafs to seperate) and 3.5" wildhorse coils

Thats some nice pics.

How much different would it be if you had full widths? How much farther up the ramp do you think it would go?

84B2, about how wide are those michelins you run? from the looks, they can't be more than 10.5".

oh, and how would i go about getting a set? :D

it says 9 on the sidewall, there too skinny for around here, but tougher than steel. they measure about 36" tall.

how much further would it go? im not quite sure, but ill let you know if i do wrist the front, but i dont feel it is really needed. im going to move the shock mounts, right now the front wont compress past where you see it in the pics because where i mounted the shocks, but ive gotta move the front ahead like an inch so i dont rub the tires on the firewall.

edit, just noticed you asked how much more flex with full width. heres the thing, mine is full width, but the rims i got were the narrowest(that i could find) and pulled intowards the truck i could get at the time, there about 8" wide, and do not stick out of the wheelwells more than 3" per side at ride height. you could probably achieve a wider stance with ranger width axles and some wide tires/rims
