.... donated $500 to the fund to fight the eco-bastards that are trying to have El Dorado forest closed to motorized recreation (this affects the Rubicon, Barrett, Iron Mountain, etc). See this thread for more info:

So what other clubs are going to ante up? Pirates rule. :skull: :skull: :skull:

Im glad ya'll are starting shit talking...

If yall spent half the time shit talking about this that you do making up new acronymns for eachother, you could probably pay President Bush to do a speach on how bad eco nazis suck!!!

Seriously though, Im happy for both the groups...

I dont donate mula but give me email addresses and consider them spammed....

EDIT:
All the Snapperheads donated at the raffle and/or on their registration forms..

I'm thinking about putting together a car and truck show to benefit BRC and CA4WDC sometime this year...This is the first I've mentioned to anyone about it, but maybe I can make it a reality...

The "dough in the jug" wasn't collected by TDS and doesn't
go to the club. It's a donation to the Blue Ribbon Coolition.
The total for that was a little over $1100.

Next week at our monthly meeting I will ask my club, the B.C. SouthCoast Allterrainers if they would be interested in donating some of our club money to fight against the closure of the El Dorado Forest.

As a Canadian club, the exchange rate will probably kill any donation that we may make, but I hope that our efforts would be appreciated.

I figure there are alot of people from my club that have already, or one day dream of wheeling the Rubicon. We should help save it too, right? :)

Okay people,

I am not trying to sound like Sally Struthers here but there are over 10000 members on this board right. So yeah not all of them are still active and a few of them are just punk asses. But how much do y'all think we could come up with for this fight if each of us sent in 1 buck? I have not and will probably never make it to the 'Con in the near future but I agree these damn marxist need to be stopped. What do y'all guys think?

Point Mugu 4 Wheel Drive Club donates the proceeds of it's Fright Night run to CA4WDC, Blue Ribbon and CORVA every year. I don't know the breakdown, but this year it was about $4000. Plus we pass the hat at every meeting and send $40 or $50 each month to CORVA.
Maybe Lance could set up a monthly donation fund for any members that want to contribute. That would be pretty cool to see Pirate 4X4 donating a couple thousand each month (our money, not Lance's). I'd cough it up.

Right on lance, and POR.. Its nice to see some people giving back to the sport. I gave 20 bucks to the blue ribbon coalition just yesterday, I sent the check. Felt bad because I didnt have any cash with me at TDS to give em. But its all good. Im broke, but its all good :)
