All right, first off I'll get this out of the way, I'm completely retarded. :flipoff2: But besides that I'm having one hell of a time getting these drums off of the damned axle. I've removed all of the lug nuts, along with the three hex bolts on the drum, but it still isn't budging at all. I've given it a couple of light smacks with a hammer, but still nothing. Am I missing a couple bolts (at least in my head).

There isn't a chance that there are holes drilled/tapped into the drum? I've seen old weird axles that have "pusher" holes drilled into the drum. You can thread a bolt into these and they will push against the hub and push the drum off. Can you turn the drum or is it siezed? You might be able to back off the pads with the automatic adjuster (if it has one). There is a slot on the backing plate that you can stick a screwdriver into and turn the adjuster. If your pads are loose, use your hammer a little more to get the drum off. You can also try some penetrating lube.

do what he said and dont be afraid to smack the crap out of the drums, you wont hurt them, a lot of times the rust and crap just needs to be loosened up in there.

All right got one side off and found a colony of about 30 spiders living inside (I love junkyard parts), but I've got a stripped bolt on the other side that is really pissing me off.
