First post of our newly designed Ford 9" pinion guard it will fit over both the 1350 & 1410 yokes. And yes this is a picture of our 14 bolt unit. I will have the first 9"ers ready late Monday. The only difference between the two is bolt hole location. If your interested send me an e-mail at the below addy. Thanks Shawn

We also now accept credit cards for payment however to keep prices low for everyone there will be a $10 minimum or 10% (whichever is more) convenience fee added to the total purchase amount. Thanks Shawn

Your products are nice but your Credit Card policy blows...hard. That's pretty much the reason I don't buy stuff from you guys anymore (already bought a set of spring perches). Why not just use paypal?

I have the best prices around and basically stated PP sucks for vendors/sellers. They ripped me off and I will not use them for CC transactions anymore. Even with my CC policy I still have some of the best pricing around, but if I have to pay for a service you want I'm going to pass the fees on to you who wants it. This way only the impatient or in a hurry customers have to pay the fee. The rest do not and can pay with no fees one of the other ways. I realize most customers do not understand the business side of things but I believe my way is the fairest. Just out of curiosity what did you pay for my spring perches $15? plus shipping? OK so I cleared $2 after everything was said and done. Now if I tried to pay CC fees on top of that I would be in the negative. So basically would you pay to go work? No and neither will I. Thanks Shawn just my 2 cents

Sorry I never got back to this thread. After all was said and done I paid 34 dollars shipped for a set of your spring perches.

Anyway, could you stick up a pic of the 9" guard?

I'll try and snap one tommorrow. It looks identical to the 14 except for the bolt spacing

If memory serves me correctly HI9 does not just flip the axle but they use a different third member. If it was a flipped 9 I don't think it would work because the bolt pattern would be off. But for safe measure I would contact them and make sure they are not running a flipped 9 then it should work. Thanks Shawn

Used mine over in Clayton, and it had no problem supporting the whole weight of the jeep on it. Really nice product, and it saved my u-joints more than once. I'll post a picture later if wanted.

very s easy to do as the top half is all open for getting a wrench in there. Now in case something broke or whatever and you could not spin the DS there are two holes either side of the bottom you can get a 12 pt wrench in also to loosen bottom nuts.

I sell a lot of chopper parts on Ebay. Pretty much gotta take pp to be sure I'm
paid before shipping. The fee's are horrible, finally had to pass them on to be
able to accept pp on big ticket items.

I purchased a 9" pinion protector, and was'nt sure if I liked it at first for clearance reasons, but decided to leave it on. We went to South Dakota a couple of months ago, and while doing a ledge/pile of boulders, the jeep slipped off of the line I was taking, and dropped 3+ feet and landed on a rock, square on the pinion protector with the full weight of the jeep. Needless to say, it saved my week and has taken a beating the last couple of months. Bump for a great product. Marc

Awesome testimonial as this was a specific concern with one of the local builders I work with. He doesn't run these for fear of cracking/breaking a case stating he'd rather replace a u-joint than a 3rd case. I tend to think these are worth the "risk" of a case break, especially with the nodular units I'm building now. I'll be picking up a pair of these later this week, if not today.

1/2" thick throughout, I used to do the base from 1/2" and the guard from 3/8" til I saw Bigwoodys old rig at Harlan last spring and the 3/8" portion was holding up but was in fact borderline. I switched it all over to 1/2" for a couple more bucks out of my pocket and still held the pricing to you guys. Thanks Shawn

I run a nodular also and have yet to have any issues there, as the leverage just won't be there these are not very long. A pair would run you $120.00 as we can fit up to three in a flat rate box for $10 so three would only run you $175.00 Thanks Shawn

Actually I'm a half hr from Ft Wayne this week and was planning on just stopping by Branik. You guys finished moving the shop? Where's it at now?

Office is moved! And that is just 4 miles North of Dupont Rd. on Tonkel Rd. I am still renovating shop space. Old shop is still in Butler, however if you need a couple of these to pick up let me know and I can have them at new shop/office waiting for you. Not sue if Branik has two or not?

Yeah, grab a couple. I'd rather visit the source anyhow.:D

Drop me a pm when they'll be there and I'll make some time. We're heading back home where I don't need a fucking snowmobile suit to get the mail probably Friday afternoon. This -28 wind chill stuff sucks ass.

14 bolt version arrived last week, nice product. Thanks Shawn.

Constructive criticism
I think it would be helpful to future customers and myself if you sent an email confirming order/payment/ and an estimated ship date.

The lack of communication is a little unerving when money is taken out of your account.
