Anyone see a problem in doing so? Will I get killed on shipping the various parts?

I suck at keeping money around and saving for something...seems bills always crop up or something. :rolleyes:

I am parting out one rig to build another and I have enough to buy the bender itself, but no dies yet.

JD2 ships all that stuff separately anyway. I ordered all of mine at once, but some of the dies I wanted were backordered. The dies are too heavy to ship a couple together.

Thats what I did. Bought the bender first then the dies.

FWIW-I went and dropped $260 for a model 3 and degree ring from a local vendor today.

Best part was the guy was ready to drop everything he was doing and set up his bender and teach me how to bend right then and there.

I told him to wait until I picked up my first die.
