I performed a search but no luck for instructions on what to do to override ARB's "safety feature" so that I can lock my front ARB independent of my rear ARB? I'm sure I could figure it out w/a test lite and/or multimeter but I'm gonna be in a hurry so if anyone can provide wiring colors it'd help save me some time...

Your right it's painfully simple. But my truck isn't here and I don't have the wiring schematics handy. Sorry.

But I have a question and I thought about doing the same when I installed my ARB.

Can someone tell me why or when you would only want the front axle locked? I think ARB wired it the way they did so you wouldn't be stressing out the front turning axle all the time. But what do I know. The only time I can see where modifiying this to work this way is if you toasted the rear or possibly wasted the rear air lines. But that's the only time I can come up with.

I think if you have cutting brakes you would un-lock the rear when there in use.

I have no idea what the colors are as I don't use electric switches for my ARB. The way it works is the power source for the front switch comes from the rear switch. It is only supplied with juice once the rear switch is in the on position. If you can find which wire it is then you're golden. Change the power supply for the front switch to be coming from the compressor switch. That way you don't accidentaly flip the front locker on if the compressor is off.

at the switches, cut the green wire to switch 2 (front) and splice that wire into the red wire of switch 1 (rear)

to easy.
