if he could afford to build it (several times as it seems from reading the article) then I'm sure he can afford to ship it over here.

Oh...its nice, but I wont vote for it.

Give the guy a break.

If he can drive... this might turn out to be an interesting TTC.
Lots of good potentials this year.
From the specs, it's a nice machine.
I wouldn't mind watvhing something perform built outside North America. They might just have something unique.

we all are going to help him with the shipping.
this is a pro truck that was built for competition only.
help us and you will see the mighty frog wins.

im guessing with all the political bs and war over that way theres no way your gonna get that thing shipped over here. besides theres no way yah can beat and american with a heavy right foot and some ponies under the hood :smokin: :usa:

laredo
03-06-2002, 06:36 AM
first of all, we are cool here, and dont mind the arrabs bs.
second, we have all the ponies we need (imported from ya guys)
and we will bring it over to kick your but, and theach you were to build your trucks.
try us, what have you got to lose?

So its a pro truck built for competition only huh. He probably has sponsers too. Well I know that me and about 65 of the other entries built their trucks to have fun and maybe have the ultimate wheeler using our own money. So although it is a really sweet rig, it might not be fair to vote for him rather than all the good ol boys who built their trucks with stick welders and grinders.:D

maybe i wasnt clear enough. here in israel we are paing alot more than you guys about everithing. new tj is 50K$ here.
not many can pay this much and then modify it. this truck was built to compete here, and in ttc. thats our fun. about sponsors in israel: i am the owner of israel champion team, and we can hardly rase a few bucks, hardly enough to race, not to mention building and maintaing the rigs.

Like I said in the origingal TTC thread... There is one good reason to vote for it, and it should be all you need:

I say vote him in
i see no problem with spending all your money on a rig and then spending even more to get it around the world to compete in different crazy comps
I'd do it if I had the $. Now I'm not too fond of the idea of payin someone to build a rig for me, but that's just cause I'm interested in how my junk works and how to make it better. who know if this guy built it or bought it, but he gets my vote if he can get here to play. do I think he'll win? I hope not cause I'd rather see some farmer from no-where wup'im in a stock flatfender, but that's cuz I like the under dog.

I think alot of people are missin the point, How sweet is it that TTC is gettin big enough for other nations to get involved, I think it brings a new perspective on it and makes it more interesting, I'll vote for the frog, but if you make it, god dammit you better float that big sum bitch over here and run it, dont be a no show, after talkin the mighty frog smack! and here is a little love for ya :flipoff2:

PS bring me one of those long wheel base YJ's you guys get over there

laredo
03-06-2002, 02:27 PM
thanks for the votes. don't worry well get there (even if we have to swim over)
about the long wb YJ-
they call it storm, its101"wb and dana 60 rear. all the rest - pure YJ.
the funny thing is that YJ are very rare here and cost alot.
92' YJ is about 25K$ while 92 CYJ-L is 5K$.
and you guys will prefare the long model....

hello there boys & girls,
love every minute of reading your thought, your pros and cons and all the rest.
believe it or not it's going to be a real bitch shipping that beasty frog over there, but i will do it although i'm far far away from being
that filthy rich as you may think( my friends here will also help).
the fact is that it almost turned me broke but you know, once a junkie allways a junkie.
when you come to think of it, you guys & gals have to pick not one, but ten good ones, right?
surely the frog is worth one of the ten places, do'nt you think so?
just think i'll be dragging that sob all the way from israel.....
btw-even if i get in and even if i win, it ai'nt gonna be that bad because i'm also an american (born but not raised).
so come on now, show a little sympathy and kick my butt all the way to the TTC...
LOVE YOU ALL
FROGGY

 does anybody know the exact dates of the TTC?
if i make it to the top 10, i'll need to ship the frog 4 weeks in advance.
in the entry form of the Four Wheeler it says "during June" without specific dates.

by the way - i do'nt know whatever gave any of you the impression that i am someone who buys vehicles "off the shelf" and spends money of sponsors without limitations.

well you'r wrong. i wish i had that kind of money or sponsors. please wish that.

i planned the Frog MYSELF and done some of the work, not all of it, with my own hands. i'm proud to say that spent countless days on it and i definitely know every part, bolt and system in it.
i only hope i wo'nt have to prove in the TTC and not break anything there.

but first of all i'll have to be voted in wo'nt i?

if you have any info about TTC's dates, please let me know
thanks

Its worthy. Ill vote for yea. You seem pretty cool to. Hope to see ya there. Is there more rigs like that there or does everybody shit when thay see that thing around there?

the frog
03-09-2002, 05:20 AM
actually there are some pritty good vehicles here, although none that big, heavy, big blocked, Sway-a-wayed or Rockwelled.
i'll not be too modest if i'll say that i was something of a pioneer in this field, but it would be true to say so.

we have now a few buggies with 39.5" Boggers. Chevy 350's, Danas 70 & 60 w/lockers but none is in the Frog's scale.

however i can say confidently that the events we have here, especially the team events, are at the highest level and we do have a-lot to "sell" in this respect. you could get some impression of it in the photo & custom pages of my website.http://www.thefrog.alloffroad.comthere is one photo i'm sure you'll love - the first photo in the "photo page 2" shows the frog going down a monstrous slope into a mud & water hole. in the bottom of the picture you can see the reflection of the frog in the water. just not allowed to miss!!

if any of you know anything about the TTC dates, please let me heae your voice.

BTW- it's one hell of a forum, i can only wish we had such in Israel.

see you all in TTC 2002.
