WHY DO THE CRUISER GODS HATE ME!!!!!! Everything i do they throw a boulder at me!!!! why is it that every article about SOA seems to have no problem but know that i did mine my front driveline angle is so horrible i must get high pinion or rotate at the knuckles??? Is it becuase of the type of v8 conversion? Mine uses adaptor plate beetween toy tranny and chevy bell. As of know the resting center measurement from front flange to flange is 21 1\4 inches with 35degree angle, tom woods says that in order to get anything to work for a usable driveshaft i must rotate up some degrees. Why is this happening to me? Have anyof you had this issue, i know i know i need to search past BB messages but i didnt see anything similar. In the case that i must rotate knuckels any one in seattle area ever do it? I dont want to fawk it up. sorry about the unitelligible rant but i am pissed. I was hoping to get driveshafts done today becuase my daily driver had a major failure and is shop for a while and know i have no usable car!!!! not to mention i live in sticks so i am screwed!!!! RRRRR it almost makes me want to get a je... wait wait what was i thinking no i dont, i just want some good crusier karma!!!!!!

Relax.
Generally when you do a springover you need to cut and turn the knuckles for proper steering geometry.. There is a writeup on woody's site on how to cut and turn..
Unfortunately now you have to cut off your spring pads and relocate them.
The knuckles can be cut and turned either with the axles in or out of the vehicle... As long as you can weld you can do it yourself.

Unless you have a very old cruiser frontend it is not worth it....

Cut and turn what you have right now. then bolt the Mini disk brake stuff to it...
