ever since i wheeled in a friends pastures in 4low, my truck has been stuck in 4low, the shifter would move, and sound like it shifted, but no cigar. i finally pulled it today, and found lots of chunks of steel and aluminum. now i got to find a borg warner t case, who says you cant have carnage on a weekend warrior?

So what happened inside it? Snap the chain? Strip some teeth? just curious...

well, i managed to break the shift fork, chain is tweaked pretty bad. there knaw marks all over the gears and the case from the chunks being thrown around, and a couple of teeth are chipped from peices gettin wedged in there. theres some plate on the input shaft inbetween the chain sprocket and the locking gear that was smashed and banged up pretty good. im just glad thats all that went.
