i am mounting dana 44s from a scout on to my 88
gmc s15 pick-up. i am going to use a np208 transfer
case for a passanger side drop. i need to know what years
to look for that will bolt to my 88' 700r4 tranny.

also , i am going to leave the front axle the way it
mounted to the springs , so i need to know what is
the best way to hook the steering up to my original
power steering gear box.

then of course , my options on hooking up the driveshafts,
i am assuming i can use my original rear shaft if i change the
end to hook up to the dana44 . i am not sure what to do about the front. i will need a new driveshaft, what are my best options.

any help would be greatly appreiciated.
