I know this is gonna seem like a lazy post but I'm in the process of flat fendering my little TJ but I have a question before I start cutting it all up. I am going to put my blinkers on my grill just like a YJ has them mounted but is there anything behind there that will interfere with mouting the blinker there? Such as other wires or hoses or anything. Some tips would be good too from those of you that have done this and please don't move it to the newbie forum. Oh and this isn't my first time hacking fenders I did it on my blazer too.

im sorry but is it really that hard to reach behind the grill and see if there is anything in the way. I mean, youll be right there with the whole saw anyway. Thats what I did and didnt have any problems.

I just used simple 2" lights on mine. Was really simple and there is plenty of room behind the grill before you hit anything. I was thinking about changing over the CJ lights originally, but now I really don't care. Will just keep it like this.

I got my cj lights from mile hi jeep rebuilders here in denver co

you can order them from quadratec though complete. I also just drilled out the back and mounted my factory turn signals in so they would work as both running lights and turn signals
