its not done yet but im having a hard time decieding what else i want to add to it. i know i want some form of C pillars directly behind the back seat, some form of door bars, and im playing with the idea of a small halo that will come off the back of the cage right where the main hoops start to angle down. but im open to about any idea that looks good and has good design. there are some more pics in the same album but none of them are great cause my camera is a peice. so throw it in photoshop or microsoft art and let me know what u think i should do to it.

i dont see any x's to help on the lateral support, looks like on a hard flop it would just bend to the side. id say more triangulation, behind the seats and in the back to turdy up the areas likely to make contact and bend and buckle

yea I second that. that kinda looks like the job we did on my friends cage. we didnt have the steel to do additional supports but if he gets into a hardcore roll.... the cage will be deformed, or shifted. think of a cube frame.. then take each side of the frame and split it with a support rod forming 2 triangles, or even 2 rods for extra support.

so a V in between the top cross bar and harness bar in line with the B pillar? i would rather not put a full X all the way to the floor so that the back seat passengers dont loose ALL legroom. the main thing i need help with is how to finish out the back half.

a single bar at an angle should be fine to support most lateral stress.

if your running the rear seats, then i would put some supports from the floor up to the top lke behind the front seats so that the passengers are protected. just make sure you have good lateral supports so your cage doesnt fold in on you and good support from the floor up so that it doesnt cave in on you, lots of triangulation helps

Try to stand back farther for some of the pictures!! :flipoff2: Does look like a good start. More supports are needed though. I just (almost) finished the cage modifications on my jeep. I still need to add a few more supports myself. I try to look at it from all angles and picture what "could happen" to the cage, in a hard flop or roll and support it from there. Without getting too crazy. Good luck.
