I did a search couldn't find what I needed. Anyways I got a hold of a pair of used M.O.R.E mounts from a newer wrangler(2000),and put them on my 1995.
I noticed that the M.O.R.E. mounts were taller than the the stock ones especially the drivers side. After a little grinding and moving the fan shroud up(to clear the fan) I got them to work.
I drove the jeep and noticed the vibrations from the motor where more significant, especially at an idle. Is that normal, because there stronger(denser rubber, more steel). Not complaining ,just curious ,I've looked around and everthing seems to clear and does'nt appear to be hitting anything anywhere.
Does anybody else notice this and is it normal?????

Seems I remember hearing that you'll feel more motor vibration since they are stiffer. Not sure though, try looking at jeepsunlimited.com, they'll know more about them.

If you would have bought them new, you'd have the instructions that say the vibration will be more noticable. Totally normal. You'll also feel a massive difference when you stomp the gas, the motor doesn't twist up as much., all the torque goes out the rear end.

And the motor mounts are designed to be 1" taller than stock to keep your drive line angles good with a high clearance skid plate. If you put in a 1" Body lift and the high clearance skid, it all works very well together

Thanks guys for the info, at lunch I went and did some urban rock crawling(the big ditch with a boulder in it !) it seems to be all good!! Not quite as noticable the 2nd time driving it.

I went with all poly mounts adn the damn 2.5 vibrated the Jeep so much at idle that I am pretty sure the girlfriend was gettin on hot and wet from riding in it...... wich wasn't too bad of a thing. But then it got old and I switched back to the stock rubbers adn chined em to prevent braking them. I left the Tranny mount for the girlfriend :grinpimp:

The Bombproof torsion rubber mounts (1" lift) do vibrate when you first put them on. But over time, as they settle in..... they stop vibrating and you don't even remember you put them in.

We've had ours in for about a year now.
