hi, i was thinking of pulling a tranny out of a buddy's truck for later use, but didn't know if it would be worthwhile. it's an early 80's GMC, which used to be a utility body, 2wd 1 ton. the tranny has L, 1,2,3, and R on the stick, and looks like it has a plate on the right side for a PTO. it looks enormous so i thought it might be pretty beefy. anybody know what tranny this might be or anything about it? i'd appreciate any info at all. thanks in advance, brian
