Now I dont have any single wheel D60 hub bearing assemblys, so I got these duallys. All I have to do is turn down the front "ears" or outer flange & drill the bolt holes out that hold the rotor on to accept lugs, correct? Can the dually rotor still be used or do I need single wheel application ones? Heres a pic of what I got. http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Mar/2002365510588846237925.jpg
Thanks for all the help!

Ok, if you're staying 8 lug, it's easy. Measure the wheel locating diameter of the hub just inside the wms. Turn the dually wms off on a lathe and turn the body of the hub down to a smaller o.d. than the wheel locating area. Just clean the 8 ears up a little bit when turning the hub. They are flame cut and not very true. Make a new wheel locating area next to the 8 ears, where the weld is.(the dia. you measured earlier) Drill the rotor and 8 ears to acept the studs you removed from the wms. Press in the studs to hold the rotor to the hub and have a singlely wheel hub. If you're running aftermarket wheels the wheel locating area is probably not needed. If you're worried about cutting too much of the weld you can try to reuse the original wms from the dually area placed outside the 8 ears. To do this you'd need to drill them for studs also and buy longer studs. Then the stud would go from the inside of the rotor, thru the ears thru the new (old) wms to the lug nuts. Simple enough? Hope this is clearer in print than in my rambling mind!

Are the rotors the same? So without the WMS flange the outside radius of the hub body is still too large for standard rims & still needs futher machining??

rotors, afaik are the same. look at the wheel hub. it gets bulbous after the dually wms, measure the biggest area and compare it to your wheel...

I took my hubs in yesterday and when they measured the section between the flanges, the guy said he would just have to clean up a little bit to get the wheel over with aftermarket wheels, but since that section is as cast its possible there is some variance. I have heard of some people charging $250 to machine the pair, but I was quoted $30 bucks a piece from a reputable machine shop. Yes, you can reuse the rotors, since you're having the threaded holes ( in the ears ) bored to accept the press in lug studs, the studs will secure the rotor instead of the bolts. Make sense?

Im just making sure I get all my facts straight before hand. So one other thing. Im also needing all the internals like the race & bearings & any seals. That applies to the spindle bearing & seals too. Any best places to get them from, part#'s, best prices & brands. Ive been trying to look it up but Im unsure of all the descriptions.(NAPAonline)

I have heard that everything is the same between the SRW and DRW and that the spindles are different. So, what I did is just ask for the bearings, races and seals for a dually, an 83 in my case. Just under a hundred bucks for Timken brand, now I'm just trying to decide if I should install the races myself or have it done. I also have to have the races installed on the idler gears of my 205.

There is no difference in the spindles between the dually and singlewheel set-up.Spicer part number 700013..the bearings, races and seals are the same as well. :D
