They are a 3.73 carrier so require specially cut gears to run 4.10's an up. Yukon, superior, and alloy all produce 4.56's, and 4.88's that are available right now. 5.13's incomming this fall.

They run at low pressure, 5 psi. I havnt seen or heard of any failures in the lockers themselves yet, with a lot of us running 35-37's. Im sure there is a few, but thats the same with anything.

Sposedly the company that makes them will start marketing them to the public soon.

the biggest problem that I have seen people have with them is the air pumps/switches/whatever else not working reliably and the lockers not working

All depends on how you drive. I'd get some spares just in case, like some nice alloy shafts and keep your stock shafts as spares for those. I'm on 37's and hp44/35 spline 9" and plan on being easy on it. I have Yukon shafts and a few pairs of stock front shafts as spares.

The switches work fine, its the pump location and sensor protection that usually cause headaches.

Keep the pumps up out of the shit and rocks, wrap the sensors a little better and you are good to go. I ripped the front sensor right out but it still locks. It is still a mechanical locker, the sensors are just an in cab indicator.

I run q-78 16's, which are a big 35 and measure up to some 37's. We have one local thats been on 37's for 3 years. He's blown axles but the lockers have held.

Im sure people have blown them up like buddy said. Put your mind to it, you'll blow anything up. The rubi 44axle and locker seems to do pretty well on 35's, and not bad on 37's, depending on the driver.

and ya, Id definately upgrade to chromo's if going to 37's on a rubi 44.

Which axles would you guys recommend?
And is there anyway to put a slide cable on the lockers to make the mechanical so i can just engage them as i see fit?

thanks for the info..
