Is this steering scary or am I missing something? (http://forums.jeepsunlimited.com/ubb/Forum37/HTML/005803.html)

Check out my post there - is this not a bunch of hiems mounted in single shear without safety washers?

thats hilarious, eddie finnally got his xtv stuff shipped to him. that took forever!! its actually safer than it was, that tj was lifted about 10 inches ( although it doesn't sit quite that high ) thats the point, it wasn't highsteer, its just a little beefier than it was. now you should flame him for running 38s on the 30/35 instead of trying to make his steering safer.:D

Looks like a recipe for bumpsteer... of course if he's running 38s on 30/35 axles, he probably never takes it off the road anyway.

Single Shear: what Dan-H said.
Except at times you want that cone washer (the misalignment washer) the other way around if you need more misalignment out of the hiem.
