Didn't want to derail the other post, so... Have you got any info on your front end that you're willing to share?

Hey Man

As for the axle, it is has Dana 60 outers from a Chevy 3/4 ton, hubs milled down to 6 on 5.5.

35 spline outers with Warn 1 Ton hubs that were designed for rear FF applications (huge)

Center section is from a Ford 9" (Big Bearing model), Nodular housing, 35 spline inners with Detroit. 1350 yoke.

62" wide, 1/2 ton vented rotors from a Chevrolet Pickup.

High steer arms with the tie rod BEHIND the axle with Hydo assist in the rear as well.

9" center was shaved for clearance.

When I bought mine it was $4200 for the base model. They are now up to $4700.

High steer/reverse rod is $600

Shaved diff is $150

If I had it to do over I would use a full width D60, shave it for clearance and run Hummer wheels and have $4000 left over.

Live and learn.

Got any close up pics? I am going to start mine in a few weeks. Pretty much like you said: 35 spline, redrilled blah, blah, blah. I just scrapped my 60 build when I found out how much they weigh. I have a few extra 60's if ya wanna trade:rolleyes: I was out taking measurements last night, seems like it will be a pretty simple set-up, and plenty stout for my rig! Using the 60 knuckles out actually makes for a narrow housing, that should be pretty tough to bend. Ever had any problems with it?
