View Full Version : Clevice Ends for Hydro Steer Cylinders

I have had alot of people call me looking for these specifically ( I have made a little over 1500 of these now) , and alot of compliments on their design and finish , so I thought I would post these here to make their availability more known.
These are made for steering cylinders with 3/4" - 16 tapped shafts , and are made for both 5/8" and 3/4" bore rod ends.
Pictured is a 3/4" bore clevice end with a 3/4" x 7/8"(shank) rod end.
The hardware included with these clevice ends is all yellow zinc plated ( some will appreciate how hard it is to get some of these bolts plated) and consists of :
1 - 3/4"-16 x 2" Alloy Socket Head bolt
1 - 3/4" or 5/8" x 1.75" Shoudler bolt
2 - 3/4" or 5/8" rod end spacers
1 - 1/2" or 5/8" Grade 9 Stoverlock lock-nut ( These are sized smaller because of the way a shoulder bolt is made - see pictures )
The clevice end itself is CNC machined from 1020 Mild Steel.
Normally I sell the clevice ends for the price of $80 a set without the purchase of a steering cylinder and $65 a set with the purchase of a cylinder. A set consists of 2 complete clevice ends with hardware; everything you need to complete one double ended steering cylinder.
For this introduction I will be selling the clevice ends by themselves for $65 a set.
( UPDATE: Clevice ends are now $85/Set when purchased without a cylinder , the newest clevice ends are completely plated so that it is not necessary to paint them.)
I can accept payment by check , M.O. , Visa , or Mastercard .

Another thing to note, that with the socket head bolt that we are using, this clevice end is made AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE. Alot shorter than some of the other ones being sold out there.
These are made so tight that the body of the rod end actually goes inside of the socket head by about .060" .

Whats the diameter on these?
They start off as a 2" O.D. material but because of all the machining on them , they only remain at that diameter at the two round sides next to the base where the bolt to the cylinder. You have the bolt head/wrench flats that go down the whole length , and then you have the slot cut down the inside which together reduce the outer dimension of the cevice end for the rest of it's length.

Sean I don't know whats going on!
I spoke with you last week you were going to call me back the same day and you never did.
Since then I have e-mailed you, and called almost every day... I thought we were `cool`... but it's been a long time since i`ve talked to you and I still don't have my parts. Supposedly you didn't have any of these clevis ends when I ordered but your post never mentions running ou. I lost your cell# so I have only called your business #, and left messages.
I need my stuff man please atleast call and let me know what's going on here.

O.k Thanks.
Just for an update on this , I talked with Todd this morning and got everything cleared up with him . Todds parts actually shipped out last Mon. but thats all I had time for was to get all the shipments out for the limited time I was here, and did not have the time or the ability to call from the hospital where I have been all week.
Thanks for being understanding about the whole thing , Todd.

I'm sorry that you have had to wait for so long for it , but whether you want to believe me or not, you would not have been able to recieve a HI flow P-pump from any other well know vendor during that period of time either. Delphi is at fault for all the vendors not being able to build those pumps for awhile. It has nothing to do with me  .
