Anyone ever use one on their engine hoist? Can they actually lift much weight hooked to a desent 18 cfm/135 psi air compressor? THX

isn't the air just doing the jacking for you? The hydraulic ram is still supporting the weight...

Correct, I was just wondering how well the air "assist" actually works.

I barrowed one a cherry picker from a buddy and it had a ram very similar to this on it. Workes well. A little slow but it is easier to see what you are doing without being right at the jack. HTH
