I have an 8.8 rear that was on jackstands waiting to get installed. My big dumb Rottweiler knocked it off the stands, and now the metal shields that cover the rotors (backside) are bent quite a bit. Is it easy to straighten them, or whats the deal. Is it expensive to replace? I'm so fucking mad. I am ready to shoot my dog. Thanks.

There is no such thing as a dumb Rottweiller - perhaps he was trying to tell you something..... :D

Ok, maybe my Rott isn't dumb, but he sure pisses me off sometimes. His name is Roscoe P. Coltrane, so what do you expect...

and let that black dust get all over the housing... think of the children!

Dust shields serve a 95% cosmetic purpose, very similar to window tinting in overall practicality.

Just give the dust shields to the Rotty as a chew toy.
