Bench grinder wheels this time.
I've got a 6" grinder, and its time for a new wheel.
No-brainer you'd think.....
But I've also just bought a set of carbide drills, and they need a silicon carbide wheel to sharpen - or so I believe.
So will a carbide wheel do just as well for general grinding duty, or will I have to swap wheels around.
I use the bench grinder about 50:50 for sharpening and knocking rough edges off of cut plate etc.
The carbide wheels are double the cost of regular wheels here in the UK
Thanks
Andy
