What's the fee if you just drive a car out and ride and camp?

Send JeepnChris (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/member.php?u=24062) a PM - its his property he may just let people come on to spectate...

Unfortunaltly we do not allow spectators at Crozet unless it is a comp. All visitors/attendees need to be in a vehicle on a trail unless they break on one of the trails and there are no open seats.

Please do not come to spectate, you MUST be in a vehicle (for the trail rides) as the driver or a passenger. This is how our insurance works. Sorry.

Thanks!
Chris

Well, I wasnt really wanting to come "spectate". I would be driving my '99 blazer 4wd but not planning on wheeling it as it is my daily driver. I was planning on riding with someone, but just the same I think I'll just wait and go to the Cove's next event.

Kind of expensive to have to bring a "rig" out there just to have a BBQ. :shaking:

Didnt know that I was a "spectator". Last time I checked my posts I just asked what it cost to camp if I came out and rode with someone. :flipoff2:

Not sure Chris has a set price yet for anyone to just camp and ride along. Chris? A camper/passenger fee?
99.9 percent of the people going usually take there rigs or have a seat lined up in advance. In that case, it's included in the drivers cost.
If you don't have a seat lined up in advance and wish to jump in and empty seat in when you get there, I'm sure Chris will accomidate. At that point it's up to the driver, as you are now his or her liability. And if you can't find a seat, you won't be allowed on the trails.
I've been there a few times and it's worth the trip. Unless Heather is brave enough to ride with me again, I'll have an open seat, so come on out.

Thanks for the offer Gunny. I had planned to maybe ride with YJ4Rox or a few others. It just doesnt look like my work schedule is going to allow for the time off as I work weekends now and plan to take time off to go to the next ride at the Cove near Gore, VA. Wish I could make it! I have been there a few times and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing those new obstacles they've made in person. Pics just never do an obstacle justice!
