I've got an 03' TJ with a 3 in lift and 33's. I was looking to up grade my lift, but keep the 33's, with the possible addition of 35's next summer (still a daily driver at this point). I'm planning as of right now to go with the Rubicon Express 4.5' Superflex kit, 1.25' JKS body lift, and 1 M.O.R.E MM lift. Will the MM lift keep me from having driveline vibrations, or will a SYE and CV shaft be necissary? Should I maybe go with the 4' HD springs Currie makes......got a guy whose gonna give me a good deal on a set of those. Thanks for the input.......

You can add more lift if you take the front driveline out. You weren't using it anyway...

Put an SYE and CV drive shaft in it, build it right

You should use the search button and learn a little before you do all that. You don't need big lift for bigger tires.

How hard is the SYE to put in? Money is not the issure. I can get the SYE and the TW shaft for $475. Body lift and motor mount kits were going to be around $200. No real difference there.......

do some more thread searching. Search for sye install, etc. It is an easy install, or check Tom wood's site for a step by step install. You need a SYE for a 4.5 inch lift, or you will have bad vibe, bad driveshaft angle, or your joints will fail soon.

SYE is easy with good lockring pliers...

go slow and pay attention to what you are doing...

the best way to learn is to not ask questions until you screw up. or just look at the directions when you screw up. not be mean, but at this point you can still read the directions for how you want to build your jeep.

If money is not an issue then lift your rig the right way. The better shops will tell you go RE 4.5 Superflext with 3.5" springs and get all the upgrades like JKS disconnects and adj upper/lowers front and back. Then do a 1" BL/MML. You can put in bumpstops or trim (my option) and clear 35/36s really easily. Anything higher than that you will want to start looking at LA kits.

SYE is super easy, follow the instructions or search for guides here. I suggest getting a bellyup before you measure the DS though.

I was just confused because some people with the 4.5" kit were'nt using the SYE and some were. That looks like the best set up I've seen so far. So I should run the 3.5" spring instead of the 4.5"? 35's would be the largest tire I would ever go to. I thought about the belly up aswell. I just want to do it right the first time and not end up 6 months down the road changing everything up again.

if you do it right the first time, you will end up changing everything 9 months down the road rather than 6

its inevitable
