I am going to be picking up a DANA60 and 14BOLT and need to know what the measurements of the 60 are before I commit the $$$ and have to make quite a drive to fetch 'em. These are from under a military vehicle with 4:56 gears, posi front and Detroit rear. Can anyone help me with some accurate numbers please! WMS to WMS, center pin to center pin, spring pad width, how far is the diff from the pass. pad, etc.
 TIA!!!

69" wms-wms if a single rear wheel
I guess 32" spring pad to spring pad, might be wrong.
are you just trying to ID one?
there are much easier ways to do that
shock mounts look like chev stuff on the chev, and the dodge looks like a piece of bar stock welded with the shock pin in single shear

Most important is spring to spring width, this will will tell me if I've gotta move his front springs or not. If it is 32", it will be a bolt in!

Can anyone else verify if the measurements Aggro gave are accurate:question:
THANKS AGAIN!!
yes the 32 is the rough measurement for the chev and the dodges are roughly a 1/2" wider

The set I am getting came out of a Military Chevy. So IF indeed the width between the spring pads is 32" I am set!!! :smokin: :D :smokin:
