What's the rough average price for a Safari snorkel for a BJ75 in Australia?
The Swedish dealer wants 500$ plus installation for a Safari snorkel.

last i priced one was around $400 Oz

so if its cheaper, i might be able to tee you one up....our dollar normally isnt worth much but i dunno....

a snorkel can be fitted in less than one afternoon, it is SOOOO easy, you get templates and all the hardware and EVERYTHING in the safari snorkels, its tooo damn easy, the biggest fear people have is drilling holes in the a pillar, dont fear ujst trace them up perfectly and drill away!!!

Installing a Safari Snorkel on an FZJ80 that wasn't mine has been one of the funnest things I've done with Land Cruisers lately! The owner's face when I walked up to his pristine truck with the big-ass hole saw was priceless!

That said, have you tried pricing it in the US? Amazingly, some items that come from Australia are cheaper here than they are there, case in point, ARB Air Lockers. I know several people that have purchased Safari Snorkels in the US for the 70 series, it might be worth looking into, and shipping from the US is bound to be cheaper. Try www.mudrak.com, call and ask for Gary, he might be able to help you.

I saw that 4x4connection wanted about 230$ US, is that a high price in USA?
My dad got good contacts in Australia so geting it to Sweden would't be a problem.
It's half price in Australia compared to Sweden, and it's only one dealer that sells ARB and Warn products in Sweden and he has very high prices because he is the general agent and mostly sells to power comapnies, and the gladly pay 500$ US for a snorkel and 2000$ for a warn 8247(due to that he can afford having gold rolex and Hummers).
