DavidO 03-09-2002, 10:49 PM Man, those pics bring back some memories. I'm really ready to get back out there. I've been between "wheelable" rigs for too long. :( :(

ABSOLUTELY!!! I've got nothing against tube-frame flexy-monster creations, but nothing gets me excited about wheelin' like seeing a rig that still looks like what it IS, but that is built right and works well.
If I tell you that you have a nice Jeep, will you ship me your D300 when you get the Atlas in? I'll buy you a  if that helps...
Really though, Kudos to you, high5. Your Jeep looks great and works well. Nice job.
High5 03-10-2002, 06:34 AM well thanks but no i can't send you my d300's (i have 2). i have a guy coming otday to buy both of them. well you guys are not looking at the pic's very well. look at the back half of the body. it is beat to oblivion from a roll last april. the other side is beat from a roll too. it got the hood, front fender, and spots all down the passenger side. i did that on the day before those pics were taken. infact the only thing on my jeep that isn't damaged is the grill! i too like bodied rigs as far as looks go but with the way i like to wheel a tubed rig seems more practicle. this summer i will start building a tubed chassis and swap all my drive train into it. :D thanks for all the comments
Looks like fun to me!
Good times,good times.

3 stage, upper poerline (stay off of those though because they are writing tickets!), jim and juanitas. A B C, lower power line, and just a bit of snake pit. do i want to go back on the 20th...yes but i can't. i sold my dana300 today and next weekend i go to pick up my atlas. i still need to fab a new crossmember/tranny mount for that, plus a new drive shaft. this weekend i got to play with my new jd2 bender and i built a grill hoop and a br that runs behind the seats so i can add harnesses. anyway i would be interested in a run sometime later than that. let me know. :D

StillCrawlin 03-10-2002, 09:10 PM I have wheeled with Brian before. He is not scared to drive it hard. Its not as bad looking as he says though. It is a nice rig!!
Here is a picture of it about to roll luckily Jim jumped on the back wheel and stop it . And he is still calm enough to give a thumbs up!!

High5 03-11-2002, 07:52 AM daniel, those are just rancho 9012's. i think the orane paint must make them look bigger in the pic.
wow that pic is from a couple of years ago. i still had the 351w, scoutd44 front, 60 rear, 35's, and obviously it had not had the stretch done. that pic really doesn't look bad but if anyone has been to floyd's hill in clayton ok then they would know that that is not a good place to be sitting sideways on that hill!!!! it is steep! and if i had rolled it was a long ways to the bottom. also that pic's the jeep didn't have too much damage. but then again it has been rolled acouple of times not to mantion all the other rock/tree rash since then. :D
that was my first time to clayton right after i moved to tx.
