35 Spline and yes I want a locker so I can turn it. It is a front D60. Any of you going to be in Moab for EJS?

i have a buddy who has broken two d60 lockrites in his front 60 int the past year and a half. do it right and get the full detroit. just my op.

it is in his backup rig. he has a 70's model dodge cab on a ram charger frame, flat bed, worn out 318 with the puny little 1bbl ( i believe) carb, np435, and a 203. he only runs 36 sx's on it too. he hammers it but it doesn't have just gobs of power though. both times the teeth stripped off of them. i was considering putting a drop in locker in my front 60 when i put it in but that is when he broke his first. i personally have seen quite a few drop in lockers fail and i never wanted one but i thought hey it's a d60 it should be stronger. well i'm glad i saw him break the first one because i went full detroit and have not had a problem. :D

I am going with a drop in cause I am going to 5:13's in a few months from 4:10's and I am on the wrong side of the carrier split so when I go to 5:13's I will get a full Detroit or if they turn out to work an Ox locker. Thanks for the names. Only 2 weeks left and still have to get brakes, hydro, locker, hubs and finish the body protection. Makes me tired thinking about it.:(

I got Randy's last 35 spline D60 Lockright.
You might try Reider; 4WPW was out of 'em and backordered till April. I found three at Competition Specialties (a wholesale house--don't try and track 'em down, 'cause they only sell to dealers) but they want more (dealer cost) than MT posted the prices at. I can get the 35 spline (those three) ones for $350/ea plus UPS; otherwise, try Reider--I know their prices are better than that.
